# openUC2 & Malaria Detection

Hello there,

as already mentioned in my comment on _Fluorescence Microscopy & Tuberculosis_, we are currently planning to use openUC2 for a seminar with our students, who will be working on health-related challenges. One team of students will be given the task of building a prototype to support malaria detection.

In this context, I wanted to ask: **Has anyone already used openUC2 for malaria detection, or for a similar application in the context of malaria diagnostics? Or are you aware of any existing projects working on this topic?**

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
