Here is some quick-start information on how to access the user interface of your openUC2 system again.
The easiest way is to connect directly via the Raspberry Pi’s Wi-Fi:
- Select Wi-Fi: Connect your computer or tablet to the microscope’s Wi-Fi network. The name looks something like this: openuc2-xxx-xxx-0000
- Enter password: The password is

Open browser: Enter the IP address192.168.4.1into your browser’s address bar. - Start ImSwitch: On the landing page that opens, you can select ImSwitch directly and control the goniometer (or any other “APP”).
- You should be able to find the apps via the “App Manager” (the toggle switch makes them appear permanently in the sidebar)
Alternatively, after connecting to the Wi-Fi, you can try entering the generic domain name http://openuc2.local/ into your browser instead of the IP address (though unfortunately, this often doesn’t work on Windows).
